ACTi Solution: AI-Enhanced Forensic Search
ACTi provides a powerful suite of forensic tools integrated into its Video Management System (VMS) to streamline the "post-search" process through automation and intelligence.
AI Attribute Search and Filtering: ACTi cameras extract rich metadata from every person detected. Investigators can use the VMS to filter search results by specific attributes such as clothing color (top and bottom), gender, age group, and whether the person was wearing a hat or carrying a bag. This instantly narrows down thousands of hours of video to a few relevant clips.
AI Re-identification (Re-ID): This advanced technology allows the system to recognize the same individual across different cameras without relying on facial recognition. By analyzing the suspect's overall appearance and silhouette, the VMS can automatically "stitch" together a person's movement history across the entire facility.
Multi-Camera Playback and Syncing: The ACTi VMS allows investigators to synchronize playback from multiple cameras simultaneously. By selecting a time range, the system can show the suspect appearing in different fields of view, providing a comprehensive 360-degree perspective of the incident.
Thumbnail-Based Search: Instead of watching full video clips, operators can browse through a series of automatically generated thumbnails of detected people. This visual summary allows for rapid scanning of all individuals who passed through a specific area during a specific time.
Forensic Map Integration: ACTi’s interactive e-map shows the location of all cameras. During a post-search, the system can plot the suspect’s detected locations on the map, visually reconstructing their entry point, path of travel, and exit point for clearer reporting.
High-Speed Evidence Export: Once the suspect is located and their path is verified, the ACTi VMS can bundle all relevant clips into a single evidence file, complete with timestamps and camera names, ready for immediate sharing with law enforcement.
