USB網路攝影機作為影像頻道

Use the USB webcam as the video channel of the NVR

概述

What is a video channel?

Typically, a video channel of the NVR is either an IP camera, or an analog camera that transmits the video via IP video encoder device. The NVR would allocate the channel for each device. That channel can become a part of the view or layout in the NVR. Each channel can be recorded and the videos can be accessed later. In addition to the conventional surveillance cameras as channels, ACTi's NVR also supports both smartphones and webcams as video channels.

What is webcam as a channel?

The webcam that is plugged into the NVR server machine via USB cable can be selected as a source of a video channel of the NVR. This does not require any Ethernet at all.

應用

The webcam as a channel can either be used as a security solution, for example, to monitor the control room itself, or it can be used also as a simple demo solution of the NVR server. Without requiring any local area network and data switches or PoE, the video stream can already be shown on the NVR screen using plug-and-play USB-based webcam.

解決方案

ACTi's NVR 3 supports webcam as the video channel. The channel license is also required for the webcams.
