There are various applications that would benefit from the AI-assisted fall detection. For example, the factories with dangerous mechanical equipment - if the worker is suddenly collapsing to the floor, the AI will detect it immediately and the alarm will be activated, in order to save the person immediately.
The city surveillance cameras can look for the fallen people on the streets, especially during the winter when the roads and sidewalks may be slippery.
In the hospitals and the nursing homes, the cameras will notice when the person in the emergency room or elsewhere in the premises has collapsed. The doctors would be notified immediately.
Children playgrounds have the climbing equipment which are considered safe by the standards, but rarely the accidents may still happen. If the surveillance system detects the child lying on the ground there, the emergency services would be dispatched immediately.
