Introduction

Hybrid DVR is a standalone video recorder that is able to receive video streams from both analog and IP cameras. In this example, the hybrid DVR is connected to the analog cameras via coaxial cable. Depending on the model, one hybrid DVR can support 4, 8 or even 16 analog cameras. The solution is very easy to use - simply plug and play. You can access the hybrid DVR either by the local display, or remotely over the IP network using the web browser.

Application

Hybrid DVR and analog cameras solution is the most cost-efficient solution in ACTi offering. It is great for the projects that have a limited budget and need an easy plug-and-play type of installation, such as residential or small retail.
