Overview

The Linux-based standalone NVR servers are popular due to the following reasons:

  1. Simpler operating system also means better reliability
  2. Lower server cost due to not requiring the license for the operating system
  3. No operating system upgrades required
  4. No risk of any unexpected services would occupy CPU and memory.

There are 3 different product families of Linux-based standalone NVR: YVR-series (Hybrid DVR), ZNR-series (NVR) and ENR-series (NVR).
