The gunshot detection system consists of acoustic sensors, IP surveillance cameras. The sensor can be mounted on walls, ceiling or integrated into outdoor lighting continuously listen for shots. Upon the detection of gunfire, the system can triangulate the precise locations and connect to the on-site cameras to retrieve the live monitoring. All the precise timestamps and geocodes data can be sent to the police for timely handling or be collected to researchers for understanding violent crime patterns.
