What is Running Detection?
Running Detection is the AI feature that uses the people tracking capability together with the speed evaluations. When a person moves too fast in the view of the camera, the system will detect it as running. It is possible to configure the system so that running in certain areas would trigger an alarm in the security room.

Running detection is useful for the applications where the running could disturb others or even be considered as a potential security risk.

For example a sudden running in prisons is considered an abnormal situation that may require the guards' attention.

Running in the shopping centers can be disturbance, and in many cases, may be related to the potential shoplifting. An early response can prevent losses in such cases.
