Linux-based ZNR-series standalone network video recorder (NVR) can manage up to 64 IP cameras over the IP network. It has a simple and user-friendly interface that requires no additional training. Depending on model, one NVR can support 4, 8, 16, 32 or even 64 IP cameras. Desktop and rackmount options available. It can be accessed by the local display or by the remote PC with the web browser over the IP network.
When the project scale goes beyond 64 analog cameras or there are many locations, then multiple ZNR servers can be used. To have a centralized overview of all the video channels, ACTi CMS can be used to manage those ZNR servers.
To enable CMS to work with ZNR-series NVR, the plugin called CMS Adapter can be installed in the CMS server.
The CMS server can be accessed by its local Workstation client, or remotely over the IP network using a Workstation client, web client or mobile client.
It is also possible to create budget friendly keyboard-free fixed CMS monitoring solution by using video decoders connected to the TV panels via HDMI.
