There are many projects requiring the capability of having loudspeakers installed in various locations of the site which could be managed remotely by the NVR from the control room.
ACTi offers several models of IP speakers that are able to do both security alarms and the speech broadcasts.
The security alarms can be based on the pre-selected audio files that can be configured to trigger automatically when the events occur. For example, when the fire alarm is triggered, the IP speakers can automatically start speaking the instructions of the evacuation.
When the NVR has been connected to the microphone, it is possible for the officer at the NVR client interface to speak to one or multiple speakers at the same time. With the convenient click, it is possible to speak to all the speakers in case of the global announcements.
The IP speakers also have the RCA-in interface, allowing these speakers be used as a local amplifiers of the speech. It is not used for the intercom purposes.
The waterproof outdoor-ready speakers have the wall-mount bracket attached to them. The indoor speakers can be flush mounted to look discreet and elegant.
