India's STQC stands for Standardisation Testing and Quality Certification, which is an initiative under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.
For surveillance and security products, STQC ensures compliance with Essential Requirements (ERs) such as:
- Physical and hardware security
- Access control
- Firmware integrity
- Cybersecurity features
- Power safety and environmental reliability
This certification is often mandatory for government tenders or public sector deployments in India.
ACTi has various camera models that are fully capable of passing the STQC standard, including the firmware and hardware related requirements.
Furthermore, these cameras can be offered under two partnership programmes - Semi-Knocked Down Service (SKD) and OEM Service.
Therefore, it is possible for our India customers to fully re-brand these products and offer them as "Made in India", due to the value-added contribution of SKD process.
After rebranding, the customers may then successfully apply for the STQC certification for their branded models.
To specify the models available for this process, please contact ACTi by Sales@acti.com
The process:
- After selecting the preferred models, our sales representative will inform the customer about NRE, unit pricing, minimum order quantity, lead time, and the payment terms under SKD and OEM services.
- Final decision on target models, considering also group certification possibilities.
- Signing of the agreement of the scope of work.
- Initial NRE payment.
