ACTi Hemispheric Camera Secures National Electricity Corporation in Sudan
Background 
National Electricity Corporation would like to secure79 electricity distribution points in Khartoum. These spacious distribution points contain highly valuable and important facilities, which provide all the electricity supply for Khartoum city. A state of the art HD IP CCTV system with centralized video management system is required by the end user.
Solution
ACTi partner successfully installed 412 units IP HD camera (284 x KCM-5211E + 128 x KCM-3911) together with Milestone video management software, one of ACTi’s main software partners from Denmark.
KCM-5211E, a 4 megapixel outdoor camera with 18x optical zoom lens is chosen to cover outdoor area. For indoor monitoring environment, KCM-3911, a 360 degree hemispherical (fisheye) camera with 4 megapixel resolution is installed.
Benefit
KCM-5211E comes with high resolution with 18x optical zoom lens, which covers a large space, and easily provides great video quality within 300 meters. The hemispheric camera, KCM-3911, at 360 degree mode covers the widest area which saves system integrator’s laboring efforts of installing multiple standard cameras and the annoying cabling work.
