G&G gas station is the local Slovakian chain petrol station, and is a self-service station so people can fuel up petrol by themselves. It also provides additional services including car wash as well as light shopping covering food and drinks for drivers.

In order to monitor the drivers and the gas-filling process, G&G gas station is in need of a security system supporting good video quality with more details recorded to ensure that the station owner is able to recognize the license plates of each car entering and also the driver’ face.

Scanlock, the leading company in Slovakia, specializing in CCTV solution, proposes an open platform solution comprising ACTi Megapixel cameras along with Exacq application software for the end user. “With ACTi’s Megapixel cameras, customers are guaranteed to get good video quality during both Day and Night modes. In addition, Megapixel cameras support effective pixels at 1208x1024, which is perfect for license plate recognition. The new IP –based system also leaves higher flexibility for the future expansion of the gas station. Now the station owner can expand the monitoring sites and achieve centralized management at the same time”. Said Mr. Krug, the owner of Scanlock.

"We are very happy with ACTi's Megapixel camera video quality. It provides clear image of everything recorded. The new IP system is definitely a recommendable solution, and also, the price is very reasonable!” comments the owner of the G&G Gas Station.
