ACTi solution partner, ICCO Systems in Romania has successfully installed a security system for one of the biggest milk producer in Romania, Covalact, using ACTi megapixel IP cameras.
Solution
Covalact milk factory used to have an analog CCTV system with limited functionalities. In order to improve the surveillance system, the end user has decided to install a new IP CCTV system using megapixel IP cameras for all important areas of the facility, for a much better image quality and easy management of the system.
Selecting from different brands and models of megapixel cameras, the decision finally went for ACTi Megapixel cameras and Milestone VMS.For indoor spaces ACM-4201 was chosen because of the excellent image quality at a competitive price. Moreover, with the changeable lens option, the most suitable lens is chosen in order to best adapt to the site. ACTi ACM-4201 has performed stably and very clear video image for a low price.For outdoor areas, ACM-1231 was chosen because of its unique all-in-one feature, including: weatherproof, day&night function, excellent image quality, varifocal lens permitting to fix the proper angle of view for each location.All cameras are connected using a LAN designed scenario only for this application, VMS is installed on a true Intel Xeon server, and viewing on 5 clients on local PC's with one or many monitors.
Benefit
For its excellent video quality and easy usage, the end user was very satisfied and expanded ACTi IP surveillance system, now this system has more than 50 cameras, mentioned Mr. Adrian Ilea, the technical director in ICCO Systems.
