● Make your camera smarter – Event Handler

Traditional CCTV Cameras are passive devices. They see, but cannot act. ACTi’s Event Handler system turns our IP cameras into active partners in your security solution. Camera with event handler can detect the events and take the right action for response automatically. Thus, we can handle the event in time and efficiently. ACTi’s Event Handler is integrated to camera firmware, so customers just need to download and upgrade the new firmware simply for making cameras smarter.

● Add One More Watcher to Guard Your System – IEEE 802.1X    

Get ready for a security technique other than information encryption! In IP surveillance market, the data-encryption method is commonly adopted to protect an IP network. Your cameras have already been using the HTTPS encryption to secure the data within your system. As more and more customers are attaching great importance on high network security, they require a different method to protect the system as the second door - IEEE 802.1X, an authentication plus authorization method. This firmware version allows your cameras to support IEEE 802.1X, so get ready to set up your certification center.

● Secure your Date over Public Internet - HTTPS

HTTPS is to create a secure channel over an insecure network. It can encrypt the text date, ex login username and password, to avoid the third party to steal.
