ACTi, the technology leader in IP surveillance, released a new version of Network Video Recorder, NVR v2.2 SP2 (v2.2.47), which is now compatible with ACTi CMS software. NVR v2.2 SP2 offers many changes over the previous version; supporting the latest OS/database systems, improving ease of use, enhancing installation process, system management with backup.

 

What’s new in ACTi NVR v2.2 SP2:

 

l   Supports Windows Vista Ultimate and Windows 2008.

l   Supports SQL Express 2005 SP3.

l   Easy accessibility to ACTi camera through both hostname and IP address.

l   The ability to automatically backup for E-Map images, language settings, and manual snapshot files during software upgrade.

l   Improved System Monitor for system log search by date, time, channel, user and login IP.  System log export is also available.

l   Supports the latest H.264 devices; TCM-5311 and TCD-2500.

 

Along with this new version release, ACTi announced the availability of Central Management Server, CMS v1.0 Beta 2, which makes video management in large scales or multi-sites projects easier and more cost effective.

 

In addition, ACTi NVR Workstation has repositioned itself as an individual client software program, which allows users to login into NVR Server or CMS Server for remote video management. Get the latest version v2.2.56.
