ACTi has recently released a new version of firmware, V3.12.13, for ACM IP cameras and ACD multi-channel video encoders.

Many new features are implemented.

Users now have an easy way to find our devices by Bonjour services , UPNP or IP Utility. Bonjour is a well-known zero-configuration networking protocol. User can download and install the Bonjour from Apple website.

The Simple Network Management Protocol(SNMP) is a commonly used mechanism for monitoring and management of network connected devices . V3.12.13 supported SNMP v1,v2c and v3. Occasionally you may need the SNMP function to fulfill customer needs or project specification.

The OSD (On Screen Display) text overlay function can show a text string on the video image. This text may contain information about the video feed, like date, time, camera name and user defined text. In addition, user can mask one special rectangle region to avoid intruding upon others' privacy. The Privacy Mask function allows for  different color choices, including Red, Green, Blue and Black.

Up to 16 IP address filtering rulesare available now, and user can allow or deny access to specific IP or IP segments.
