ACTi IP Cameras Made a Difference for the “August Alexander” Charity Fashion Show

Dallas; the third largest city in Texas; the 9
th largest city in the United States of America; Home of The 5-time Super Bowl Champions, The Dallas Cowboys; and the home of many giving organizations and events, such as the fashion runway show recently staged at the JetTen Hangar in Addison (a suburb of Dallas).
Integrated Business Applications (IBA) invited ACTi to join forces as sponsors of the charity fashion show, which debuted the August Alexander: First Lady Collection. The show was lined out to be over-the-top in presentation, prestige, and fashion; so Courtney Alexander Russell (designer) wanted everything top notch; including the lights, sound, and very important video

presentation. Although the show’s proceeds were to be donated to two local charities; there was no room for error for this amazing night on the runway. All proceeds from the event benefitted the Suicide Crisis Center of North Texas and the Autism Treatment Center of Texas. ACTi did not hesitate to climb on board as a sponsor.
ACTi stepped in to offer the use of their latest in Megapixel IP camera technology with 1080P resolution, including their Top Speed Dome PTZ to zoom in and capture the models as they made their grand entry, their walk, and their exit. With IBA donating the use of one of their advanced back-office systems to provide high quality digital video solutions of the show, three 50” flat panels, and four smart pads, while streaming the multiple camera views captured by ACTi cameras to the August Alexander website and captured all video on DVD for the August Alexander Marketing team. Red Bull joined in on the action by donating the use of two jumbotrons.

“After further review of our current technology compared to ACTi’s digital advancements and broad software capabilities, the high quality of IP cameras, as well as the ease-of-use and swift adaptability, the choice was not a difficult one. Our business solutions have advanced light years and we’re more excited than ever about our new business partners and the technology that will deliver a compliment nothing less than world class.” ~Integrated Business Applicatios
