Founded in 1958, Müller Distribuidora is the distributor in the field of food distribution occupying a prominent position in the wholesale segment in South of Brazil. It is one of the 10 largest companies in the county, and the top 100 fastest-growing in Brazil.

 

The main objective of the project is the perimeter surveillance; loss prevention and reduction of burglary are the two main purposes. The area will be monitored is large and requires close looking to have the precise images. The use of megapixel cameras to obtain images with high resolution was crucial to the success of the project. Given these inquiries, the system integrator chose ACTi Megapixel IP camera, NUUO Software and ACTi software NVR to meet all these requirements.

 

The area is equipped with ACTi ACM-4200 Megapixel IP Cube Cameras which were installed indoors. Outside of the warehouse, there are CAM-6630 IP Speed Dome Camera and excellent images from the IP66-rated weatherproof ACM-1231 Megapixel IP Bullet Cameras. Both models offer up to 1280x1024 megapixel resolution at 8fps video streaming. The MPEG4 compression further saves the storage size so as to allow long-period recording. The video recording function of ACM-4200 at the internal areas and ACM-1231 from perimeter area makes it possible for the warehouse manager to remotely monitor or playback to the recorded video.
