Copperhill Mountain Lodge is a new mountain resort hotel on Mount Förberget in Åre, Sweden. Located at 730 metres above sea level the site is stunning, perched on the tree line, high on the mountain and commanding magnificent views. Copperhill Mountain Lodge cost EUR 75 million to build, and is the first hotel in the northern part of Sweden to be awarded five stars according to the Swedish Hotel and Restaurant Association’s standard for hotel classification. The hotel has 112 suites and rooms with a total of 420 beds. The hotel has a modern appearance and a lodge-style setting. It was designed by the renowned American architect Peter Bohlin, famous for drawing Bill Gates’ private residence and Apple’s prestigious stores.
