In the past, in En-Zhu-Gong Hospital there was DVR system with analogue cameras used for monitoring the building. However, the video quality of the analogue cameras was very poor, and it was difficult to recognize people’s faces while the thieves broke in. Therefore, the management of En-Zhu-Gong Hospital decided to renew its surveillance system from DVR to IP solution, and ACTi is their only and the best choice.

 

For protecting the privacy of the patients, the goal is to install IP cameras only in the nursing service center and hallways of sickroom floors. From 9^th floor to 16^th floor, each floor is equipped with 4 pieces of ACTi ACM-1311, Day and Night CCD IR Bullet Camera. Also, in the nursing service center of each floor, ACTi NVR Enterprise is installed for live monitoring, video recording and management.

 

With IR LEDs, the night view of ACTi ACM-1311 is excellent even while the lights are all turned off. This helps a lot to prevent from the theft or the intrusion, and also to secure the safety of patients in case of any accident happens at night. Moreover, ACTi offers function-rich ACTi NVR Enterprise totally for free, for real-time monitoring and easy management. In the future, the whole system can also be expanded easily by adding Megapixel cameras or ACTi central management software, ACTi ControlVision.
