ACTi and ITV, a Russian software company, co-work to build up an IP surveillance system for a farm in Panevezys city, Lithuania.
The farm's owner, Mr. Kestutis Povilonis, was desired to establish a security system since a lot of goods and agricultural engineering in this farm need to be protected.
IP surveillance system, built up by Saugos Technologiju Grupe Ltd, was chosen as this gives the customer the easiest option to enjoy a highly cost-effective soluion, rapid installation and good quality system. Furthermore, with IP–based infrastructure, it means great scalability for the future.
The security system in this farm project composes of 18 units of ACTi ACM-1431 cameras. ACM-1431 is an outdoor all-in-one IP camera - it is not only very competitive on the price, but also has great low light perforamce by IR LED built in. In addition, these products support Full D1 resolution (720×576), 25 frames per second and uses even low bit rate to provide good video quality. This is essential while bandwidth is a concern for video transmission.
"This security system perfectly met my expectations: both live view and recording video are delivered with high quality. Now I can see workers are doing daily works in my farm, and all the goods and agricultural engineering in his farm could also be protected", said Mr. Kestutis Povilonis.
Most importantly, when the cameras were just installed, someone tried to break the camera and all of his behavior was recorded by the security system. Please click
