Formed in 1983, Everlight Electronics is the leading manufacturer for Taiwan's LED manufacturing and packaging industry.  In 2007, Everlight was the top revenue and growth manufacturer in Taiwan, and ranked number 7 in the world. In 2008, Everlight constructed a new factory at Taiwan's Miaoli county in order to increase production capacity.

At the new factory, an IP surveillance system was introduced. The system was based on ACTi's 1.3 Megapixel IP cameras, while monitoring was done directly via the built-in web browser of all ACTi products. The purpose was to use a state of the art surveillance system to monitor production quality and provide all Everlight employees a safe working environment.

This factory is the new scientific and technological building.  To monitor the facilities, Everlight Electronics installed ACTi NVR system. ACTi's NVR ensures the quality of control during building construction and to guarantee construction personnel are secure.  Additionally, as the building is built, Everlight Electronics can combine their network monitoring system and planning to maximize their investment and limit unnecessary waste of resources.

ACTi's NVR platform utilizes the IE browser.  This web-based interface allows for security personnel to supervise and manage video streams while allowing for simultaneous connections for live broadcast and/or playback of recorded streams.  The NVR system also supports two-way audio via the IE browser. Using ACTi's NVR system, management and security personnel can create a high-efficiency platform that creates a more secure facility while using fewer resources.  With these factors in mind, it is no surprise that Everlight Electronics chose ACTi's NVR as a trusted and preferred solution.
