Bureau of National Health Insurance (NHI) is the key medical service provider in Taiwan. As a government organization and manage public information, NHI has higher standard and responsibility for protecting the confidential data. As a result, NHI especially emphasizes the surveillance system.

In this new building, NHI uses existing analogue cameras connected with ACTi four-channel video servers, ACD-2200. ACD-2200 supports MPEG-4 and MJPEG compression for selections. Also, ACD-2200 provide up to Full D1 (720x480) resolution and two-way audio. Comparing with the analogue system, the cost of construction and maintenance is much lower. Moreover, the analogue system needs at least 36 coaxial cables and it is very difficult for management.

Furthermore, ACTi provides FREE NVR software to manage all the cameras by recording, display, and playback and e-map management. Comparing with DVR system, ACTi unified solution can save more space and improve efficiency.
