Background 
Marina Mall, located in the Airport area of Accra, Ghana, is one of the most prestigious shopping malls in Ghana, hosting a collection of designer brand names. Choose from over 100 stores across the center, including ZARA, H&M, MANGO, BOSS and many more. In order to provide a safe shopping environment for all the guests and ensure staff security, Marina Mall chose ACTi unified solution for their IP surveillance system.
Solution
The whole surveillance system needs to fulfill several conditions such as to cover large areas like lobbies and food court with high megapixel dome cameras featured with optical zoom and auto focus - KCM-7111 and KCM-7211, to monitor the hallways with high megapixel box cameras featured with 18x optical zoom and auto focus - KCM-5211, and to cover every single corner of the Mall with 1.3 Megapixel dome/box cameras - ACM-3401 and ACM-5611.
Total 105pcs of ACTi cameras has been installed in Marina Mall, including 60pcs of ACM-3401, 27pcs of KCM-7111, 9pcs of ACM-5611, 5pcs of KCM-7211, and 4pcs of KCM-5211. And the videos from these cameras are recorded in 2 ACTi Standalone Network Video Recorders, XNR-4200, which are featured with 6 SATA HDD Bays each and are able to record with maximum recording frame rate at 1920fps on each unit.
