KT Workshop Inc, ACTi's main distributor in Japan, successfully implemented IP surveillance system into a company's office in Tokyo. The office building is located in Tokyo, Japan. The IP surveillance system is composed of 11units box type camera ACTi CAM-5201 and Milestone XProtect software, which is successfully integrated into the access control system of the office entrances.

The purpose of installing IP surveillance system includes:

   The end user's office is separated to two floors. They installed IP surveillance
   system to secure the safety of the office.
2. Promotion
   The end user is a system integrator, which provide total security solution and they built up IP surveillance system in their office as well as a live demonstration for their customers.

The IP surveillance system is more cost-effective in a two-floor office compared to the CCTV system. Especially it saves the cost for coaxial cabling. Another important reason for utilizing IP surveillance is its integration with the access control system.
