Train station is a public place with high population density. Therefore, it is always terrorist attack target. Chang-chin is one of the biggest city in China. To protect safety of citizen & train station facilities, Chang-chin train station chose to use ACTi IP surveillance system.

 

The great benefit of using ACTi IP surveillance system is upgrading the whole system, however the safety guard can still use traditional CCTV device to manage the IP surveillance system. Additional, because it would be a big task to install all coaxial cable in train station, the system installer is pleased to present this new IP surveillance system, since IP surveillance system can use existed networking infrastructure.

 

 

In Chang-chin train station; there are 60 camera installation sites and one central control center. On camera site, it still keeps using analog cameras. But combined with ACTi SED-2100R, it allows transmitting real-time streaming through Giga-Ethernet to control center. At control room, there is a TV wall. By using SED-3200 (transcoder), it can receive real-time digital streams from SED-2100R and convert it back to analog video signal and display on TV wall. Each TV shows each camera’s real-time streams sequent. Or safety guard can switch camera channel by using traditional control panel.

 

 

 

 

 

Furthermore, the whole system uses ACTi Network Video Recorder. ACTi NVR allows safety guard to get real-time video streams and recording files from each control room and control center.
