With ACTi 16-channel management software, Streaming Activator, and ACTi IP speed dome, CAM-6220PW, ACTi has empowered the tourist facility and improved the security surveillance system at the tourist center of the Yushan National Park.
The local authority has been planning to create a portal on the official website of Yushan National Park via which remote scenery spots in the flatland could be viewed and explored through out each tourist station in the park.
A high point near by the gate of Nan-an Visitor Center has been chosen to mount Day and Night IP speed dome, CAM-6220PW. Its impressive feature of 27x optical zoom and its flexible option to do easy control over pan and tilt enables a wide and clear 360-degree overview of the grassland.
Thanks to ACTi products’ unique transmission performance, capable of sending D1 resolution (720*480) at 25 frames per seconds at only 1.2 to 1.5Mega bit per second, the wireless streaming structure could be achieved advantageously. As the CAM-6220PW was given an IP address, it allows the public to easily retrieve the real-time captured video by clicking a link on the official website via a simple URL command integration.
The extra benefit of this successful installation of CAM-6220PW is that, with the help of ACTi Streaming Activator software installed, it gains a clear view angel of the entrance for all tourist centers spread throughout the park. And therefore, it also facilitates the overall management of tourist visits at the park.
