ACTi Corporation announced today that ACTi IP Cameras and Video Servers have been installed in the campus of LIMNOUG Company in China. The LIMNOUG Company is the subsidiary of CLT which is one of the world's largest thin film transistor liquid crystal display manufacturer.
LIMNOUG Company is experiencing a high level of growth that demands the kind of
sophisticated surveillance technology. After numerous evaluations, they think that network-based system enabled them to enhance of the security management. The project is divided into three phases. The first phase is to upgrade the current DVR system into IP-based and build the monitoring system for the surroundings of the factory. Currently, they have adopted 15 pieces of SED-2320Q, the quad video server, to digitize fifty seven analog cameras into IP system. ACTi SED-2320Q video could allow 4 analog video inputs blended into one digital MPEG-4 output stream. In order to maintain the original invested devices, the project added video amplifier to divided the stream into two streams for DVR and SED-2320Q video server. The added signal could transmit through internet and be managed by ACTi NVR2.0. In addition to the video servers, they also installed the IP speed domes of CAM-6610 to do the 24-hour monitoring for the safety of the surroundings.

The reason that Linmoug adopted ACTi solution is because that is hard to further increase the constant and ongoing use of the original DVR system. After numerous discussions and investigations, they found thatIP system enjoy the scalability and the advantage of central management. Moreover, customers are very satisfied with the video quality provided by CAM-6610 IP speed dome. They also feel quite surprised by preset speed to 400° per second. ACTi always commits to bring you the best.
