Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd, an enterprise under the leadership of China

Shipbuilding Group Corporation (CSSC), is a large shipbuilding enterprise which builds not only merchant and military ships but also heavy duty diesel engines as well as large steel structures. For the past more then 10 years, they have successfully built more than 700 ships. The focuses of them are not only to build ships but also on production technology. This has helped them many to conquer many issues and contributed quite a lot on shipbuilding industry.

The first phrase of this project is to connect 12 analog cameras with 4 ACTi SED-2300, the Quad video server, to convert the analog signal into digital one and to transmit that through the ready Internet infrastructure. Around 10 miles from that, they adopt ACTi Activator 1.37 as the application software to do the real-time preview and motion detection recording. These functionalities provided by ACTi Activator 1.37 largely reduced the work loading of the security guard and this kind application could be regarded as another milestone for the modern scientific management.

The first construction stage has been passed test acceptance and has started take the working loading from their security guard. On the second stage of this construction, they will add 17 pieces of ACD-2100 which is under planning right now. This again approves that ACTi’s IP surveillance solution could enhance the production management and save the labor cost.
