Wu-Jia Community is an old big community. There are many robberies happened recently. Therefore, local government want to establish central surveillance system, combined with existed DVR system to enhance the safety of community.

The existed DVR system is located in central parking area. To secure all communities, cameras must be installed in each entrance of parking areas. The original proposal is to expand the existed DVR system. However, total installation cost would be too expensive to install all coaxial cables from different entrances to the control room. To solve the distance issue, at the same time, having good image quality, hybrid solution is the economic proposal for Wu-Jia community.

Using ACTi video server and decoder, the control center can get video streams easily through existed internet connection to convert the digital stream to an analog, and connect it back to the existing DVR system.

Furthermore, the completed system includes back-up recording by using ACTi NVR solution. Because of NVR backup server, local residents can use the web client to access live stream from the NVR server. This additional beneficial function let the residents understand how surveillance solution can secure their own community.
