ACTi IP solution has successfully penetrated into many different vertical markets in security surveillance in China, including the military application. Take Xi-An maneuver as example, it was completed by ACTi ACD-2100 video servers with wireless solution for the whole maneuvers monitoring.

ACTi video servers are installed around the training center, mainly in the playground, and the shooting range. Because of distance (more than 200m from the target to the control center) and cabling issue, this project has finished with wireless solution. High performed analog cameras are connected to ACTi video servers. After digitalizing, the signal is broadcasted via wireless devices. The control center receives the signal and displays the real time MPEG-4 streaming through ACTi NVR 2.0. With this application, the training status, and scores of soldiers' can easily be evaluated, and enhanced.

Not only high video quality is necessary, price is also a very important factor in this project. ACTi Entry Level one channel video server ACD-2100 is the best solution.

Thanks to ACTi MPEG-4 compression technology, it provided full D1 video resolution under critical bandwidth. Further, with ACTi NVR 2.0, the training and shooting achievement were displayed smoothly and broadcasted lively during maneuvers performing.

The installation process was simple and easy without extra cabling installation.
